Born 1942, Edgar Reinhard was trained as a lithographer and started his design career in advertising, subsequently specializing in three-dimensional design. He opened his own studio in 1971. His clients include multinational corporations such as IBM, Toyota and Dow Chemical, along with numerous European companies. He has broken completely new ground in exhibition design with his use of new materials and new technology. Reinhard has influenced the quality and development of exhibition design. Since 1995, he has passed on his experiences and unique methods as a professor in the Interior Design Department of Lippe Detmold University of Applied Art in Germany.
