Werner Jeker

Born 1944, Werner Jeker has run his own studio in Lausanne since 1965. In 1983 founded the community Les Ateliers du Nord in Lausanne, with the industrial designers Cahen/Frossard, Lausanne. Clients include cultural, social, commercial institutions, such as Théâtre Vidy-Lausanne, Swiss Foundation for Photography, Cinémathèque Suisse, Collection de l’Art Brut, Musée de l’Elysée, Cité de la Musique, Magnum Photo, Weimar’99, Swiss Expo ’02, i.a. Since 1974 Jeker is a passionate teacher: School of Art and Design, Lausanne, head of graphic department 74-86, State College for Design, Karlsruhe 95-97. École Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs (ENSAD), Paris 97-98. co-head of studies in visual communication, Berne University of the Arts 2003-07. His posters are featured in collections worldwide.
